I trust that you will find a word of encouragement, of hope and strength that we all need to grow in our walk with the Lord Jesus-Christ, knowing that a daily dose in the word of God is vital to our faith.  As followers of Jesus Christ, having a close relationship with him is extremely important to our spiritual growth and our daily walk with him. We must stay connected to Jesus in other to live for him. Without a direct connection to him it is impossible to live a life that is pleasing to him.

In (John 15:4-8) Jesus says: “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” In (Matthew 5:13-16) Jesus says "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Therefore, my friend you and I have a responsibility to share and live the good news (the gospel) of Jesus-Christ; that is: He died a brutal death so we, you and I might have true life

Patiently the Lord Jesus told his disciples that they must remain in him, because a believer has no fruitfulness apart from a union and a fellowship with Jesus-Christ. A branch out of contact with the vine is lifeless. There is a transformation taking place in one’s life the minute he/she becomes a believer, which is the work of the Holy Spirit of God in us. Others must see the new you. Therefore, men and women of faith and heavenly citizens let us stand up for Christ in a world that wants absolutely nothing to do with Jesus-Christ. Therefore, let us live our lives in such a way that the world sees him in us. We are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, so let us shine and give taste to a dark and tasteless world.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
