Reaching your world for Jesus-Christ is telling people what God through Jesus -Christ has done for us. Of course God in his love has provided the way to redeem us all, when he gave his one and only Son Jesus-Christ to die on the cross for you and me. Evangelism is something we the people of God must do. It is a command and a privilege to tell everybody of the love of God. And the reason we have to tell others about the love of Jesus is because we have tasted his love and found that is good. Consequently, we must tell all people about it and not be selfish. The word of God says: God our Savior wants all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth (1Tim 2:4).

Reaching your world (Evangelism) is the other part of the Great Commission (Mat 28:19); evangelism is a command, and not a choice for all Christians to spread the gospel. However, it's more than a commandment. Evangelism is an honor, a joy, and a pleasure. It is also important to show God's love and not simply talking about it; as our actions speak louder than our voices. We are living examples of God's grace, and our attitude towards others should impact their lives. Look around you, the world needs God more than ever.

The world is desperately searching for answers, but they are looking in the wrong place; trying to fill the God shaped void in all human being that only He can fill. The Bible says "for God so loved the world that He gave his one and only begotten Son that who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (Jn 3:16). But who's going to tell them about the reason for our hope (1Pet 3:15)? It's you and me. We are God's people. Therefore, we are responsible to share and telling others about whom Jesus is and what he has done for us. Men and women of God people need the Lord and we are responsible to live our lives as light so they see Jesus in us. Jesus says we are the light of the world (Mat 5:14).Men and Women of God you and I have a responsibility to share the gospel to everyone who comes our way. As we all know that evangelization starts in our home and family first but I am not naive to think that it is an easy task. However, if we let our light shine others will see and they glorify God and come to Jesus. All of us know people who are not saved. We talk and joke with them about anything except the telling and sharing the gospel of God with them. My friends without Jesus-Christ the people that we love so much will spend eternity away from God. And there is nothing more miserable and painful than being banished from the presence of God forever. And without us, you and me the people of God telling them about it the Good news? That is the Gospel.

The Bible says in (Rom 10:13-17), for “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us? So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” Therefore, we the people of God have got to wake up from our sleep and start inviting people to the Kingdom of God that we inherited through Jesus-Christ our Lord and Savior.

For some of us, those people are our son (s) or our daughter (s). A wife or a husband, parents and grandparents, our best friends, co-workers and good old classmates; those people we say we love, shouldn't we care for their eternity as well? Most of us if not all are guilty of such because we often say it is not my life or it is not my business. It is between them and God. But friends, Jesus- Christ has sent you and me to live and tell people about his love for them. In Jn 20:19, Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” My friends, we must not be too quickly forgotten that we are on a heavenly mission. Let us start doing what we should have been doing in the first place because it is never too late to start doing the Kingdom’s work.
